The equestrian pattern Superior Covers use today is a unique equestrian design, based on the tried and tested Southern Covers pattern. It has shoulder gussets in just the right places to prevent rubbing, two back darts on the rump to prevent the cover tipping over and a well shaped backline.
Superior Covers use leather leg strapping or Aztec plastic webbing and a three hole adjustable chest strap. Tail guards are an optional extra. These equestrian covers are made in New Zealand for New Zealand conditions.
We use Regentex material, a brand that has been around for a long time. This ripstop material is a mix of 50% polyester for strength and 50% cotton to allow the material to breathe. Regentex comes in 12oz, 21oz and 26oz proofed weights. Covers can be unlined, or lined with pure wool, jute or calico. Tail guards, a generous sizing, are an extra. Matching Neck covers or Curved Neck Covers are also available.
